Electronic logging for US motor carriers

Hours of service, made easy.

EZ Logs pairs an Android driver app with the Pacific Track PT30 ELD and a web portal for carriers. Duty status, inspections and messaging live in one place.

Built to the FMCSA ELD technical specification (49 CFR Part 395, Subpart B, Appendix A); FMCSA registration in progress.

A driver's daily log graph showing off duty, sleeper berth, driving and on duty time across a day.

Everything a fleet needs to stay on the clock

  • Designed for FMCSA compliance

Built to the FMCSA ELD technical specification (49 CFR Part 395, Subpart B, Appendix A); FMCSA registration in progress. Includes automatic driving detection, edits that keep the original record, and malfunction and diagnostic monitoring.

  • Android driver app

Clear hours-of-service clocks, one-tap duty status changes and daily log certification. Logging keeps working offline and syncs when the phone reconnects.

  • Pacific Track PT30 support

The PT30 plugs into the truck's diagnostic port and reads engine hours, odometer, speed and GPS, then sends them to the app over Bluetooth.

  • Carrier portal

Review logs, handle edit requests and unidentified driving, see vehicles on a fleet map and manage drivers, vehicles and users from the browser.

  • DVIR

Drivers complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection reports with defects, photos and signatures. Mechanics certify repairs in the portal.

  • Team driving

Co-drivers share a truck while each keeps a separate log, with a quick switch between drivers when the wheel changes hands.

  • Messaging

Dispatchers and drivers message each other inside EZ Logs, so instructions stay next to the logs they relate to.

How it works

  1. Plug in the PT30

Connect the Pacific Track PT30 to the truck's diagnostic port. It powers up with the engine.

  2. Driver signs in

The driver signs in on the EZ Logs Android app, which pairs with the PT30 and starts recording duty status.

  3. Logs sync

Records are stored on the phone first, then synced to EZ Logs. Your office sees them in the carrier portal.

  4. Manage and inspect

Carriers manage logs, edits and inspections in the portal. At a roadside inspection, the driver shows logs on screen and sends the ELD output file to FMCSA by web services or email.
